My Not So Super SuperMoon Shoot…
M. O. O. N. That spells Moon! (thanks to Stephen King, The Stand for that quote).
SuperMoon! Ok, it’s Yesterday’s Moon. It’s not so “Super” today. But last night I hunted that Elusive Moon! I armed myself with my Not-So-Smart Phone/Camera and went into the Wild looking for the perfect shot. It was just rising over the horizon (although, I wish I had followed @maddow ‘s advice and went out a bit earlier in the evening during the “blue hour”. Ah, well, Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.)
The pictures I took, blurry & dim as they are, don’t do the SuperMoon Justice. Even using the Horizon Illusion didn’t make the Moon “huge” looking. Even zooming in to 2x on the phone/camera didn’t do much to “Biggify” it. But, the Safari Hunt for the Great SuperMoon, Charlie Brown, was it’s own reward.
